Overview

  • Projected saleable power with current provisions- about 1775MW
  • The choice of super-critical technology will help to achieve high efficiency thus saving fuel and reducing greenhouse gas emissions vis-à-vis conventional technology prevailing in the world.
  • Both the thermal power plants will be fully operational by March, 2015.
  • Both the solar power plants will be fully saleable by end of 2012.

List of Upcoming Projects:

  1. 660 MW coal based Thermal Power Station using Super Critical Technology in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh State with the proposed investment of approximately Rs. 3700 Crore in accordance with the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh (Investment in Power Generation Projects) Policy, 2010.
  2. 1320MW coal based Thermal Power Station using Super Critical Technology in Nagpur district of Maharashtra State with the proposed investment of approximately Rs. 8580 Crore in accordance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Government.
  3. Two numbers of 25MW each, Non-conventional energy power plants based on Solar energy at Jaisalmer & Madhya Pradesh, which will be saleable by end of 2012.
